Introduction
First, welcome to all my new subscribers. It’s been a week since my first issue, and this was just the first week of many more 💪. Thank you for being here early in this journey, it means so much to me. Now of course when you’re this early to anything, you’re bound to see some changes with the platform which you are interacting with, I’ve changed up the logo for Tulio and the color scheme too. Don’t like it? Respond to this email or fill out the feedback form at the end and I’ll consider switching it up again. Nothing’s set in stone this early.
Speaking of stone, they’re just gray, rough, and well… boring. Much like a new tab on Chrome. But you can get gems under pressure. Momentum is a browser extension that make every new tab feel energetic, inspiring, and fresh. It turns your aimless tab openings into intentional clicks that feed your goals. Let’s learn more 👇.
What Is It?
Momentum is a browser extension for Chrome ( also Firefox and Edge if you use those for some reason) that’ll replace your boring white new tabs with a calming dashboard to boost focus and clarity.
Set a daily focus that stays front and center (i.e. “Write Tulio #004 today).
See a beautiful photo + a motivational quote each time you open a new tab.
Track-to-dos and short-term goals directly in the dashboard.
Option to hide time-wasting distractions (like links and bookmarks).
Now instead of feeling like a slave to your workload when you open a tab, you can polish your priorities, one gem at a time.
How Do You Use It?
I mean it’s just a browser extension but here you go I guess.
Install the extension to your browser.
Open a new tab and BOOM 💥, it’s all pretty now.
Each morning (or night if that’s how you move), enter your main focus for the day (i.e. Get more Tulio subs 🤞)
Use the built in to-do list to break down your day into tasks.
Get a reminder of your focus and reminders throughout your day every time you open a new tab.
Correction: It’s not just a browser extension. It’s a piece of art. And you’re the artist. Blank tabs to clarity is your masterpiece. Now you can turn that boring lead (your default new tab) into an emerald (Momentum).
What Does It Replace?
This may seem obvious but...
Your default tab!
Just kidding, there’s a few more actually.
Sticky notes that you’ll never check.
Opening you’re to-do list/app 30x just to see the same stuff (what, you thought it’ll change?)
Motivational YouTube videos that you’ll drop after the first 2 minutes because of your cooked attention span.
But with momentum, you don’t need to do anything extra. You just need to do what you already do: open them tabs (and let productivity find you).
