Introduction

Yes, that’s right. We’re switching things up for this special 10th issue of Tulio. We’re in double digits now. Thank you to my readers, you all mean A LOT💜. For this issue, we’re gonna be covering “Tulio’s Top Three” or Triple T for short (may use that more going forward). I’m gonna be talking about the three BEST tools so far that I’ve covered on Tulio.

BUT before we continue, PLEASE let me know whether you’d like to see more issues outside of the regular productivity tool showcase (that’ll still be the focus). REPLY to this email OR fill out the feedback form at the bottom of this newsletter. I’d HEAVILY appreciate any and all feedback. Let me know: what you think of this type of issue, how often you’d like to see different types of issues, and some ideas of what else you’d like to see. Again, I appreciate you all, and without further ado, let’s see Tulio’s BEST (so far).

LimeWire

Yep, it’s the OG Tulio issue. LimeWire for me was the only tool that I KNEW I just HAD to write about when starting Tulio. I’ve used it all Summer long, and frankly, I was just tired of sending documents to my alt Discord account (I wasn’t joking when I wrote that in #001). It’s the perfect tool if you’ve been doing something dumb like that, or even just emailing yourself documents and pictures, because that takes too much time and ruins image quality.

  • Quick and easy to set up.

  • Preserves image quality.

  • Works with any two devices (not just Apple, like AirDrop).

  • End-to-end encrypted.

And I didn’t talk about this before, but LimeWire has a LOT more tools other than just sending documents (I might do an issue on LimeWire AGAIN).

Check them out here.

And here’s my issue on it here.

Focusmate

When I discovered Focusmate, I was genuinely in AWE. Someone took Omegele and said, “I’m making you useful now.” No more trauma from strangers doing…questionable…acts (IYKYK). But instead, Focusmate uses strangers to motivate you. Instead of “working” with friends or using lo-fi music (you know it doesn’t help 💀), you simply lock in with another person who is actually trying to focus as well.

  • Log in and schedule a focus session (25/50 mins).

  • Greet your partner and tell each other what you’ll be doing.

  • FOCUS.

  • Tell each other what you accomplished.

And trust me, it works. When I wrote the Focusmate issue, I was actually ON Focusmate while writing. And it was definitely the fastest issue I’ve written.

Try Focusmate here.

Habitica

Honestly, I was just SHOCKED by the sheer ingenuity of Habitica. It takes your boring task list and makes a whole GAME out of it. I mean, you literally have quests, levels, items, weapons, and pets. It’s hard not to love, but I don’t know what anyone WOULDN’T. Once you try Habitica, you can’t go back to any other task tools, because it’s just so fun.

  • Turn your tasks into quests.

  • Not completing a task hurts your health points.

  • Completing gives you EXP to level up and loot.

  • Buy armor, tools, weapons, and pets.

If you find normal task lists boring, give Habitica a shot. Trust me, it’ll redefine how you view doing your work, cause now, you actually get rewarded for it.

Play Habitica here.
