Introduction
WELCOOOOME to the new revamped Tulio. So excited to continue this newsletter with this MASSIVE upgrade! And thank you to ALL of you readers. I appreciate all of you!
Today, to kick off this new format and the weekend ahead, we have a tool that tracks your thoughts in order so you don’t get confused later on. Whether you’re tracking the launch/planning a project of yours, or just outlining your day, this one’s great for anyone with a poor memory (myself included 😔) .
Thinkdrop
🧠 What Is It?
Thinkdrop is a minimalist thought-saving app that’s like making Twitter threads for yourself, more specifically, your mind. You can start a thread for any thought you get, and then create a chain of thoughts below it using several avenues. It’s perfect for that slow Saturday overthinking in the afternoon.
Micro-journaling meets brain-dump therapy.
Record your thoughts as voice notes or text.
Snap a picture of the moment if you want (saves that “ohh that’s what I was writing about” moment months later).
Thoughts get grouped like threads (not forgotten like sticky notes).
Drop your location in a thought to save the place you were at when you wrote it.
See your overall mood and stats for word count, photos, etc.
Elon Musk could change-up Twitter, but you gotta make sure how your memories don’t change. Thinkdrop clears all uncertainty, so in the future, you’ll know just exactly how your thought process was and the details of the smallest moments.
⚙How Do You Use It?
Download and open the app (Apple only, sorry Android friends 😢).
Start dropping! Type or voice-record your thoughts and add in pictures and locations. Pretend you’re messaging your future self.
Let threads auto-organize your thoughts in chronological order. See what actually happened first in the future.
Review and reflect. Your future self will thank you for not forgetting or bottling it up.
With Thinkdrop, you don’t have to journal. You just have to think and drop (duh)
🧹What Does it Replace?
Thinkdrop definitely replaces OUR poor memories (yep, me and you both, I know). And it makes it so even the most chaotic of days is a straight path in your mind. Let’s see what else it could make you lose.
Notes apps that are full of chaotic, unsearchable ideas. Lookin’ like that generational family cookbook with pages mismatched everywhere 💀.
Journals you abandon after 3 entries. At least you get paper airplanes out of them.
Twitter drafts that were never going to see the “post” button used. Also, don’t be so sure everyone wants to see what you wrote 😉.
So yeah, Thinkdrop is basically Twitter threads for organizing your thoughts and experiences. If your mind’s a mess, this app will make you dump, connect, and make sense of it all. Download it, and your future self will send a thank you n̶o̶t̶e̶ drop.
🤫 Tulio’s Tips
Thinkdrop your thoughts before bed. End your day dumping your mind somewhere smarter than your ceiling.
Create a “do nothing” block in your schedule. Take some time this weekend to do nothing for a couple of minutes. It’s a creativity cheat code.
Use the 1-3-5 method. Plan to do 1 big task, 3 medium tasks, and 5 small tasks to tackle over the weekend. It keeps your to-do list from looking like a CVS receipt.
📆Weekend Challenge
Share a cold email or LinkedIn DM to 1 person you admire , no matter how “out of your league” they are.
Bonus points if they reply. Screenshot it for your Insta story and tag @tulioletter. 😉
