Introduction

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Remember, if this issue shows up in your promotions folder, add it to your main inbox so you don’t miss any future issues.

Today, we’re brining back the OG Tulio post: LimeWire. Since it was my first post and I have more subs now, I thought all the new people should get to know what they missed before. Also, I have midterms, so I don’t have much time to write a new issue completely 💀. And apparently, I had done issue #019 twice so we were behind on numbers. I skipped #025 to get back on track.

LimeWire

🧠 What Is It?

LimeWire is basically like AirDrop, but it doesn’t matter what device you have. It’s a fast and secure file-transfer website that works to and from any device as long as they’re on the same Wi-Fi or nearby.

  • Send large files instantly.

  • Preserve image quality.

  • End-to-end encrypted (no one else can access your files).

⚙ How Do You Use It?

  • Go to limewire.com on both your devices.

  • Choose the files you want to send on your first device and click the “share” button.

  • Click your second device that’ll pop up as an option to send to.

  • Accept the request from your second device.

BOOM! 💥No AirDrop needed. It doesn’t matter if you’re using a Chromebook or a TeslaBook (yes, that’s a real thing).

🧹 What Does it Replace?

Here’s the fun part, and what you really care about if you’re trying to be more productive.

  • Emailing yourself (slow, messy, and size-limited).

  • USB drive (When were you even born??)

  • Cloud uploads just to move a single file.

  • Messaging your Discord alt-account (I hope I’m not the only one that used to do this…)

Basically, if you work across multiple devices, or swap files with friends/coworkers, LimeWire removes all the friction, saving precious minutes and frustration in your workday.

🤫 Tulio’s Tips

5-Minute Rule: If a task takes less than 5 minutes, knock it out right away. You’ll be surprised at how many things get done quickly. Emails, texts, quick fixes, etc. All off your plate and out of your brain.

Make “No Zero Days” Your Motto: Even during midterm season, do something small for your long-term goals. One minute of journaling. One like of a resume. One idea for your startup. Keep the momentum alive. Don’t let the pressure drown it out.

Don’t Study Where You Sleep: Your bed is for sleep. You desk is for productivity. Mixing the two kills focus. Change your environment and your brain will follow. Of course some of you may still fall asleep in the library or something 💀.

📆 Weekday Challenge

3⃣ Just 3 Things

Every day this week, end your day by writing tomorrow’s to-do list.

But limit it to just 3 things. No more, no less.

The goal is intentionality, not overload. Bonus points if you stick to it for all 5 days.

That’s all for now. Hope you read this,
